Lexie Contursi
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Lexie Contursi is a professional dancer and creative director originally from Laguna Beach, California. She trained throughout Orange County and Los Angeles before being selected for the EDGE Performing Arts Center Scholarship Program, launching her career in the commercial dance industry.
Lexie has danced for global pop artist Katy Perry on her world tour, as well as for artists including Taylor Swift, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, Keri Hilson, and Blood Orange. Her work spans major film and television productions such as La La Land, Ted 2, and Katy Perry: Part of Me, along with award shows and live broadcasts including the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, The Oscars, People’s Choice Awards, Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Got Talent, American Idol, The X Factor, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and more.
She has appeared in national commercial campaigns for brands including Southwest, Kia, Sonic, Ford, Tecate, and Subway, and has worked under the direction of some of the industry’s most respected choreographers and creatives, including Mandy Moore, Marguerite Derricks, Rob Ashford, Raj Kapoor, Gia Coppola, Jamal Sims, Tina Landon, Brian Friedman, Nick Florez & RJ Durell, Zach Woodlee, Brooke Lipton, Tyce Diorio, Ebony Nichols, Cris Judd, Tabitha & Napoleon D’umo, Kat Burns, Barry Lather, JaQuel Knight, Luther Brown, Jamal McWilliams, and Deena Thomsen, and Laurieann Gibson.
Now as Founder & Creative Director of PRIMA Dance Club, Lexie brings her professional experience and passion for mentorship into the studio, creating high-touch, inspiring training environments for the next generation of dancers.
